One night in Alna


On October 3 the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum played host to a Historic Transport Preservation photo special. Beginning before dawn and going until well after sunset, museum volunteers put on a spectacular recreation of Maine two-foot railroading prior to the Depression.

No. 765 To Attend TrainFestival

For the second time in history, Lima Locomotive counterparts Pere Marquette no. 1225 and Nickel Plate Road no. 765 will be reunited, this time for TrainFestival 2009 in Owosso, Michigan at the Steam Railroading Institute. This unique celebration allows the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society and the Steam Railroading Institute another opportunity to work together in their railroad preservation mission.
