Down to Alcoa

Gulf & Ohoio Railways’ ex-Southern 2-8-0 no. 154 leads five Norfolk Southern passenger cars over the Tennessee River on its way to Alcoa, TN, where TVRM’s ex-Southern 2-8-0 no. 630 waits for the return trip. Thanks to G&O, NS, and TVRM for a great day.

Old Chattanooga Pike

Southern Railway 630 carried members of the Lexington Group in Transportation History from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Knoxville today, and quite a crowd was out to see the trip. The train looked great; congratulations to everyone involved.
